Special Education Support

Every child deserves access to an education that meets their individual needs. Bo Johnson Law provides legal guidance and advocacy for families navigating the special education system, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and the full range of educational evaluations.

Services include:

  • IEP analysis and goal writing for specially-designed instruction

  • Section 504 plan development and review

  • Guidance on accommodations and related services

  • Legal support during eligibility and placement meetings

  • Review and interpretation of neuropsychological and educational evaluations

  • Support in obtaining assessments (occupational or physical therapy, speech, etc.)

  • Advocacy for students with sensory impairments to ensure appropriate services

  • Assistance with monitoring and enforcement of educational plans

Whether you are attending your first IEP meeting or seeking help with a plan that’s not being followed, the goal is to ensure your child receives the services, accommodations, and instruction they are entitled to under the law.

We work with families to clarify their rights, prepare for meetings with school districts, and secure appropriate supports tailored to each student’s needs. This includes advising on assessments, progress monitoring, and plan implementation to ensure that services are not just written — but actually delivered.
